The Trauma and Pre-Hospital Pillar’s vision is to conduct research that is innovative, collaborative, regionally responsive and globally useful at an individual, population and system level.
Our aims
The Trauma Service recognises research as being an essential and valuable component of improving patient care and health outcomes.? Scientific research supports evidence-based care and integrated and adaptive clinical practice by providing an objective and defensible basis for making decisions and developing policy. In addition, through quality improvement processes which can provide the first step in the research process, delivery of care can be enhanced as well as patient outcomes.
